Music Reflection 24 - 01 - 2010, Wednesday

Today, I had rehearsal my classical music song by using violin. My song that I have played is called " Lightly Row ", I did it with Jordan, Martinus and Risya. I think I did it not good enough, because I just practice today. Therefore, I will practice more in playing the song of " Lightly Row ", so I can get good marks in the test.

Music Reflection 19 - 02 - 2010, Friday

Today, I have made the lyrics of my composition. My song title is named " This World I live In ". I think I have made it good enough, because I did it seriously. Therefore, I hope i can get a satisfying score. After that we go to the instrument class to practice their skills in the instrument that they had chose, in violin class Mr. Sadrakh taught me how to play Do,Re,Mi,Fa,Sol,La,Si,Do in A and E Key. I will try to practice at my home, because I haven't did it very well enough.

Today I listened to every person 32 AABA bars composition, I think they all have made it successfully because it sounds well and great. After we heard that we went to the instrument class to practice the Classical Music that we've must choose. I have chosen " Twinkle Twinkle Little Star " as my Classical Music song.

Music Reflection 12 - 02 - 2010, Friday

Today I learned how to make a composition using AABA 32 Bars technique. We need to make that 32 Bars by using our composition from the 16 Bars. After we finished we submitted our work to Mr.Heri, Mr. Heri will check if it right or not. Mr.Heri also told us to pick 1 song of Classical Music to play in early March. I hope I can do it with violin, because this is the first time I play a violin instrument.

Today, I learned how to compose a song with Mr. Heri. I think I understand well about the composition of Popular Music in 8 Bars. However, I think I will also learn how to make a better composition by adding 4 more bars and practice to play the composition I have made, with violin.

Today, we have a holiday for those who have not been called by any teacher to have appointment. This day is usually called by PTC ( Parent Teacher Conference ). I'm glad that there is no teacher that have an appointment with me.

Music Reflection 3 - 02 - 2010, Wednesday

Today, we have assessment. Our assessment is to sing, the name of the song is " Blowin in The Wind " it was very nervous, because I sang the song without a partner. I think i have done it not well enough, because I was not confident and felt very nervous, I hope I can get a better score in another time than this assessment score.

Today I listen to the other groups presentation about Popular Music vs. Classical Music. I haven't finish my presentation,because my group haven't mixed up our slides. I hope on Wednesday we can present the slides greatly. By making the palmcard, giving the music example and pictures.

Today there was no Music Class, because yesterday at Tuesday 26 - 01 - 2010 we watched Rama and Sita show at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta. Therefore, we started the school at 9.00 AM on Wednesday 27 - 01 - 2010

Music Reflection 22 - 01 - 2010, Friday

Today is my third lesson in Music Class, in this class I sing ' Blowin in The Wind " with my group. After we did that we make our plan for the presentation about Popular Music vs. Classical Music in a paper, then after we finish we explain to the class what we will going to present next week. Then we post it on the wall. From this lesson I hope I can sing louder next time.

Music Reflection 20 - 01 - 2010, Wednesday

Today, in music class i learned about scale such as the C Major, D Major, G Major and A Major. This is my second music lesson, in this lesson Mr. Hary and Mr.Heri taught us how to sing " Over The Rainbow " and " Blowin In The Wind ". This song is for the first Assessment, I hope I can sing the song clearly.

Music Reflection 15 - 01 - 2010, Friday

Today, was the first music class in semester 2. Mr Heri taught us about the Assessment Criteria in semester 2, and I also learned about the materials and instruments needed. Before choosing our instruments for semester 2, Mr. Hary also introduce the instrument flute and saxophone. However, I had picked violin instrument as my instrument. Therefore, I will try to learn more about violin.
